Drohiczyn is situated on a high hill of the bug river and is today a place of piece and quideness. In the 13th century Drohiczyn was an important trade point and in 1520 it was the capital town of the province Podlakie. In 1795, the thirth time Poland was divided, Drohiczyn degradated to a village. The 3 churches are a souvenier of this rich history. An orthodox church, origin is greec katholic form 1792, a closter and a benedicus church in borok style are 3 souveniers of this rish history of Drohiczyn.
